Do I have to live in Ontario to work with you?

Yes.


Do you work with men, women, trans, and non-binary folks?

Yes, of course, we work with all people, of all identities.


Do you work with same sex couples?

Yes, of course. The clinic is LGBT owned!


Do I have to be trying to get pregnant to work with you?

No, we provide support for all hormonal and reproductive health concerns. You do not have to be trying to conceive to work with us.


Do I have to share my medical records to work with you?

No, sharing medical records is optional. You do not have to be working with another doctor to work with us.


Do I have to do blood work to work with you?

No, extra investigations are optional.


How long do I have to work with you?

Typically, you will be working with us for a minimum of 3 months to achieve results.


Are your services covered by OHIP?

No, naturopathic medicine is private healthcare. However, most private insurance companies provide coverage for naturopathic medicine if you have this service.


Are your treatments safe if I am undergoing fertility treatments like IVF and IUI?

Yes, the benefit to working with us is that we are experts in fertility care and will provide safe support while you are undergoing fertility treatments.


How long does it take supplements to work for egg and sperm quality?

Since it takes a sperm or egg cell three months to mature, it takes three months for a supplement regimen to overhaul the health of that cell.


Can I buy any brand of supplements or herbs?

Supplements are not regulated in Canada. This means the majority of supplement brands do not have quality assurance and what is on the label is not in fact always in the bottle. To this point, we suggest avoiding purchasing your supplements from unregulated brands . We only recommend supplements that have been quality assured, 3rd party tested and standardized to ensure effectiveness.


Do supplements and herbs have side effects?

Just like pharmaceuticals, supplements can have side effects. Especially if you are taking things that have not been specifically prescribed to you. Our naturopathic doctors will review all benefits and potential side effects with you. 


Can I take herbs and supplements when I’m on fertility medications?

The safety and effectiveness of taking herbs and supplements while on certain medications would be determined on a case-by-case basis.


Can I take supplements when I’m pregnant?

Whether or not you should take supplements while pregnant would be determined on a case-by-case basis. Certain supplements and herbs are safe in pregnancy and can help to reduce the risk of pregnancy loss.
