Our Team

Dedicated naturopathic doctors who can help you navigate fertility in a collaborative and nurturing space.

Dr. Caleigh Sumner, ND

My career path was always to become a Naturopathic Doctor and champion a naturopathic fertility clinic, as I am a product of naturopathic medicine after years of infertility. Naturopathic medicine has always been a critical part of my life, and now it is the lens that I use to support each and every one of my unique patients.

The reality when it comes to fertility care, is that support is needed to conceive beyond the conventional medical system. Fertility treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and when it is treated us such my patients don’t see the success they deserve. I fill the gaps in patient care. I seek to find the root cause of my patients’ infertility. I pursue the answers my patients need in order to change their outcomes. I treat my patients with compassion and curiosity.

I have substantial experience supporting thousands of patients through IVF treatment, IUI cycles, embryo transfer cycles, donor gamete cycles, and natural fertility care. My area of unique focus is in endometriosis, PCOS, recurrent miscarriage, and recurrent implantation failure. My area of expertise is in immune and inflammatory causes of infertility. My study is in advanced testing and treatment for recurrent miscarriage and recurrent implantation failure.

I work closely with all fertility clinics in the GTA and collaborate with Reproductive Endocrinologists to ensure my patients receive the best care possible. As part of my Doctor of Naturopathy, I completed an extensive reproductive health internship and continue to attend fertility conferences and specialized educational courses on fertility medications and treatments. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with thousands of patients in support of their fertility and pregnancy journeys. Inclusive care for all people trying to conceive is my priority.

I received my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and my Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University.

I am a proud wife to my wife and dog mom to Indie and Joey! My obsessions include music and concerts, TV sitcoms (I’m always looking for recommendations) and baking. If you’d like to read more about improving your reproductive health, check out the Folia Fertility blog!

Dr. Georgia Parousis, ND

With a focus on fertility and preconception health, my passion is supporting individuals and couples trying to conceive. Whether it be stand-alone care or a supplement to your current medical care plan, I utilize modalities such as acupuncture, supplements, herbs, and nutrition and lifestyle counselling to optimize the landscape from which conception can take place. Working collaboratively with fertility clinics for patients undergoing Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-vitro Fertilization (IVF), egg and/or sperm preservation, and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), I see the benefit that an integrative model of care has in optimizing clinical success rates. I work with various conditions that can pose a challenge to fertility including diminished ovarian reserve (DOR), premature ovarian failure (POF), Low AMH and/or Low AFC, Male Factor Infertility, Advanced Maternal Age, Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) as well as various Obstetrical and Postpartum concerns.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Graduate degree in Education. I attained my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, with a focus on Reproductive Health and Fertility.

I am proud to be an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).

When I'm not tending to my patients, you can find me spending time in nature with my Siberian Husky or continuing to further my education by attending fertility conferences and digging deep into patient research.
