Lab Investigations
Our team will identify the root cause of your concerns using lab investigations that are not typically offered by fertility clinics. At Folia Fertility, we offer individualized testing and take the time to explain your results in detail, so that you understand your body and what is going on inside of it. We’re also happy to review all other testing completed by your other doctors, as it is our priority to provide informed and collaborative care. It’s time for you to be in control of your own health.

This test measures hormones excreted in your urine, such as estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and cortisol. Sex hormones exist in our bodies in many different forms. Inactive hormones are bound to proteins in the blood, while active hormones are free in the blood. Hormone testing via blood measures both free and bound hormones. Urine testing measures free hormones, only.
The DUTCH test is the only hormone test that measures hormone metabolites, which means that it can measure how your body metabolizes and excretes hormones. This is important information when we’re trying to figure out your hormonal symptoms.
PCOS Support
PCOS is the most common reproductive condition. Yet, just like endometriosis, it is rarely diagnosed properly. Most of our patients come to us being told they have PCOS, but they haven’t actually been assessed at all. The most frustrating part, is that PCOS is very simple to diagnose!
